Students enrolled in FALL 2009 PHYSICS218 must log in to his/her CHIP account using their assigned Username and Password to work on the assignments and to view the gradebook. The information on the Username and initial Password is described in the handout Instructions for Using CHIP. Please follow the instructions there exactly to gain access to CHIP. If you did not get a copy of this handout in your first recitation, you may pick one up at Rm.144 in the Physics Building.

If you are not yet officially enrolled in the course, or you enrolled late, click on the Problem Report link at the bottom of this page, fill out the form, and click on the submit button to request an account on CHIP.

Please note that your answers generally need to be at least within 1% of the correct value to register as correct. All questions allow only a limited number of attempts. Remember to use at least three significant digits when doing calculations to comply with the accuracy required by CHIP. See Instructions for additional important information (including those on accuracy).
