Students in SPRING 2009 PHYSICS219 must log in
to the assigned on-line Computerized Homework in Physics (CHIP) account
using their Username and Password as described in the handout
Instructions for Using CHIP, in order to to gain access to the
on-line assignment and grade book system and have the credit recorded properly.
CHIP account is entirely independent of your Purdue carereer
account.

If you are not yet officially enrolled in the course or you enrolled late,
contact the CHIP Administrator (Dr. V. Saxena) to request a CHIP account.
You may do this by clicking on the Problem Report link at the bottom
of this page and submitting the complete form.

Your first task will be to SET A NEW PASSWORD.
Click on the Student Gradebook link. Use your username and
initial password as explained in the CHIP handout to log in.
Once in the grade book, use the Change My Password button.
The CHIP handout is distributed during the first lecture. It is also
possible to pick one up from PHYS Rm. 144.

Please note that your answers generally need to be at least within
1% of the correct value to register as correct. All
questions allow only a limited number of attemps and some may require
accuracy within a specified number of significant digits. See
Instructions for important
information (including those on
accuracy).
